I just bought a GC last Saturday. I think the system is awesome! There aren't many games but the ones that are out are very addictive. "Pikmin" is the one I recommend, it may seem childish but it is very very addictive. I can't wait for Metroid Prime and Resident Evil.

You must be joking! An emulator. This machine is to powerful currently for any pc to run any of its programs. Besides, the capacity of each game if way to big for anyone to decode. Wait another 3 years+ or so.
Another option is to buy the machine. The machine is extremely cheap and game are reasonable. A certain amount of games is worth the purchase. Just buy it and you definitely won't regret it.

Majority of the people here have already got multiple machines.

The gamecube is an excellent console. I really liked starwars rogue leader. I bought the console late september in Hong Kong. I only have 3 games for it 2 jap 1 us and also have a ps2 with more games both machines are great but I have played the gamecube more. I think it is the best looking console out of all the next gen. I hope it does well because I would hate to see just one or 2 manfactures in the console game. It isnt good for the consumer.

I love my GameCube... I just wish more games would come out. (I'm looking forward to Eternal Darkness.) I only have 5 games for it, but I have over 30 on my PS2, so I can wait. (Anyone figure out how to read the GameCube CDs on their computer yet?)

i think the gamecube sucks at this moment. Check ssx tricky. The frame rate is a abitch. It is around 20.

theres nothing wrong with the framerate i've got 3 games on the GC: rogue squadren 2, super monkey ball and sonic adventure 2 all 3 of them run fast, clear and as smooth as silk.
