i am considering of buying a new CD-writer which I will use mostly for copying games and making my own audio cd's. There are 4 CD-writer am thinking about 1) Philips CDRW 1200 Series 2) Newest Yamaha 16/12/40(i think) 3) A PLEXTOR 4) A TEAC . Which one should I choose to have everything plus support for CD-Text for Audio CD's

Best cdrwiter at the moment I think is the plextor 12/10/32 scsi or eide, there's nothing it can't copy unlike the plextor 16/10/40 (I shouldend buy this one because it doesn't do RAW-Write).

It is said that Plextor made a deal with some protections companies and cannot copy games with Safedisc 2. Is this true ?

Cheers Snowie - you saved me a lot of money (was going to get one of the new Plexies).

All the best :-)

Some Plextor's won't copy everything.
---------------------------------------------------------------
* Plextor PX-W1210A - Use CloneCD 2.5.5.1 or better.

*Hardware revision TLA #0101 of the writer doesn't allow Read Subchannel Data from Data Tracks
----------------------------------------------------------------

Plextor PX-W1210S - Use CloneCD 2.5.5.1 or better. Does full RAW read/write
