It is both a cdrw and dvd rom. Just wanted to see if anyone has used this before and if it is worth buying, since it is two in one. Thanks

Yes.. it's CDRW and DVD Rom.
But I prefer SCSI or Firewire CDRW though..
But it's up to you.

what do you want to use the burner for ..
ok.. buy wise... :)

Well i would use the burner to burn music, dc games, and vcd's. Then the dvd to rip and play dvd's and the vcd's
