Mp3 splitter?

My question is if I download a complete CD or Album in mp3 form ,is there some software that I can use to break it down to the normal tracks on the CD or album. Iv'e been looking for this for quite awhile,would really appreciate some help , thanks

A good audio editor should do this. I can think of one CD-Recording software that it can be done in as well - Winoncd 5. Send the album into the editor and highlight the area that you want then click export (and it'll put it in mp3 format).

cooleditpro will also do this. however, make sure you register it, or it wont let you do it very long
