Are you trying to play cd-r or cd-rw...my piece of crap plays all cd-r disks but no cd-rw...GOOD LUCK

If your dvd player doesn't read cdrs then it will keep asking for a cd as it can't see it, but if the cd reads and starts to play then stops you can solve this by reburning the cd first creating an image in iso-buster then burning with nero. I have resurrected quite a few vcds this way. Hope this helps!

There is a possible solution.
You can try installing a UDF Reader by Adaptec
This program enables non CD-R drives like CD-DVD and older CD-ROM to read cd-r's and cd-rw's.
The program is called UDFRINST.EXE
I dont know if you can find it on adaptec website, its usually comes on the Adaptec Easy CD Creator. If you want I can send it to you, its only 349KB in size. Email me at: aeroman10********com if you want me to send you this program.
