wanna buy a cd-r.. help!!!

OK heres the deal if you had a couple of hundred to buy a cd writer, which one would it be and why? thanks for you help!!!

either the new plextor 24x writer, or the philips 20x one. both support raw-dao w/96 bytes of subchannel and are from reliable manufacturers. in some places, i believe the plextor even has a 2 year warranty.
