Hi, i'm trying to order CD. which one is better ValueLife or DataLifePlus for the Verbatim. what the difference between these two? k
i'm not positive but i think they are the same but when you buy in 50 or 100 spindle, they call them valuelife (eg. bulk).
oK Value Life are lower quality cheaper and have a clear green bottom Data Life Plus sre the high quality more expensive and have the dark blue bottom looks like CD-ROM PS2 games
sorry, i think you are correct after looking at verbatim's website. the valulife plus discs do not mention azo.
the website i looked at previously (staples.ca) seems to be in error because the product info they give for the valulife mentions azo and that is why i thought they were the same.

The Valuelife are Pthalocyanine and have a short write strategy. This means it burns best at 4x or 8x for PS games and higher for Audio.
The DatalifePlus are Cyanine and have a long write strategy. This means it burns best at 1 x or 2x for PS games, and higher to 12x for audio (depending on burner quality). The "Plus" bit refers to lacquer layes that add to storage life and scratch protection.
