Which factory are the "Made In Taiwan" TDK CD-R discs made? Does TDK have their own factories there or are they using RItek and CMC?

Not sure - will try and find out. In the meantime, you could try a program called "CDR-Identifier"; it'll tell you where the blighter came from, as long as your writer supports this feature.

Mail me if you have trouble getting it..

All the TDK (made in Taiwan) cdr's I have used
have a CDR ID belonging to RITEK

I use the 650MB CD-R74REA
and the 700MB CD-R80REA

They seem fine to me and I burn lots of music on my Ricoh MP7060S and MP7060A burners with disc juggler and Nero 5.0

I dont burn 80min CDs in the SCSI burners though.

When TDK changed from made in Japan to made in Taiwan. I didnt notice the change until a few months later. When I read the packaging and ran CDR ID.
