i used clone cd to make an image of max payne... the file is about 805mb, unfortunately my only cd left is 650mb... before i buy a new spindle, i want to know what type of cd would be able to hold all of that, and where can i buy it?
any and all help would be appreciated.
Recently I just purchased 850 meg CDR's from CompUSA..It's capable of writing in minutes of 99 minutes which is estimate of 93 minutes in reality..Unless you're doing Audio..
Also it says only on some CDR Drives it will support 99 minutes I'm assuming..
I tried looking for other brands but I can't find them..
I hope this helps!

i looked at compusa.com and cant seem to see it there, do you know anywhere else i can get them?
I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BACK UP MAX PAYNE WITHOUT ANY PROBS ON TO: TDK REFLEX ULTRA CD-R80'S!!!
just because the ISO is 805MB does not mean it is ISO9660 805MB. it could be half data and half audio. audio discs use more megabytes.
for example, if you take a 74 minute audio disc and rip it to .wav, the files will be more than 650MB.

Yes, a full 74 minutes of audio would take up 747Mb!!!

Dont trust what the Image file says for the size of the game. have the orginal cd in your ROM drive right click, use that size for the type of CD you need to use.
Turst me I have burned many games with CloneCD and the Image files always come out to be more then any CD could possibly hold(I think it has something to do with Sub-Data tracks being read).
Just check the properities of the Orginal CD, that is the true size.
