avi to mpg

Hello all, just want to see if I am doing something wrong. Does it take like 2 days to convert avi file to a mpg file? or am I doing something wrong???if so let me know what I'm doing wrong...That all

what system have you got?

does depend on cpu/hd/mem etc...and it can take some time yes :(
