View Full Version : PS2 Back-up DVD games
I'm looking for an extermal DVD-RW that is able to bune PS@ DVD games. I was told by a friend that the burner must support RAW-DAo 96 in write mode & RAW+96 in Read mode but iI can't find any models with those specs. If someone could Help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

it needs to support DVD-R, DVD-RW will NOT work.
There are two ideal (probably more) CD-RW drives (but as Arakon says it is CD-Rs you must burn for PS2).
These are from the Yamaha and Plextor ranges. They both support something called "Running OPC" which varies the speed of burn and laser power intensity to suit themedia as it goes.
My personal recommendation is the Yamaha 2200; if you can make that a SCSI drive, then you will have data on a different channel from your hard disk and built in CD-ROM.
The compatible models can be found in the Supported Writers sectionof the CloneCD site, ####://www.elby.de
