Winning Eleven 5 100% english patch

I've just patched WE5 with the 100% english patch here >>

and now it refuses to boot. The same cue/bin burnt normally works fine, but this just hangs after the paradox boot screen and dies. Any help. Did i miss something that's common knowledge?

I copied the Jap version of WE5 with CloneCD and it worked on PAL PS2 with NEO2.2 & AR2.

I also used CDRWin and patched it with the 100% Jap2ENG patch for English texts. That worked too.

... Or have you now solved the problem?
