View Full Version : To backup my psx2 and psx games?
So I can just stick the game in my burner and copy it with nero ???
What problems would i have what should i try
I don't own a ps2 so for this one I don't know, but for the psx here are the instructions:
go on www.gamecopyworld.com and ##### if the psx game you wanna copy is protected. If not, simply use nero with the following settings:"They all make 1 to 1 copies so dont' worry about that. So your burner can write RAW SESSION AT ONCE disks but not RAW DISK AT ONCE.. hence SAO and DAO.. DOesn't matter.. Session at once is pretty much the same thing..DAO records in one swift stroke across the cd. TAO is track at once..this records each track one at a time and the laser will move up and down to burn each track....If you just want to try something else I recommend NERO. Just click CD COPY and close the wizard..on the READ OPTIONS Tab ##### EVERYTHING except JITTER CONTROL, and Continue Copying should be selected as well. On DATA 1 and DATA 2 tabs both should be #####ed under FORCE RAW READING and make sure on errors...they both say WRITE UNCORRECTED in the window tabs. On the burn tab make sure you select the proper burn speeds( burn at 12x with my new burner and 4x with my older one no probs) and ##### FINALIZE CD.. This will make a perfectly good 1 to 1 copy.. cause if it didn't, we couldn't backup shit...hope this helps!! Other posts i've made include settings for CDRWIN,fireburner and EZ CD Creator.. just ##### around.. good luck!
( by the way, you shouldn't have to ##### mark DON"T REPAIR SUBCHANNEL DATA so don't mind that and yes,,blindread will work too.. just get the correct settings and you'll always have a good backup..!)"
If the game is protected, usually there is a patch available on the same site(www.gamecopyworld.com). Download the patch. Use CDRWIN to make an image(cue sheet) of the game, then use PPF-O-MATIC to apply the patch on the CUE SHEET and then use again CDRWIN to burn the PATCHED CUE SHEET.
