ppf uk files?

Every time i go to locate ppf file, it says: this is no ppf file.

But i download the correct patch but it still doesent let me , any suggestions,

The following may be silly sugestions but you never know.

When you download the patch file have you unzipped the file into its components?
What are the three extension letters on the file you are trying to use (eg. *.ppf)?
If the extension is .ppf then you probably have an error in the patch or the ppf application program. Try downloading from scratch and see if anything changes.
