Jap PS2 and US Backups??

I have the SCPH-10000 and wanted to know if I used FARGO and put an ORIGINAL Japanese PS2 game in my computer to get the boot information and then burned my US Image using that data could I use that ORIGINAL Jap game to swap trick with my backed up US image or do I need to use an ORIGINAL US PS2 game to get my boot information since the .BIN file is US? I havent been able to get a single game to work with the swap.....also, I ordered a mod from www.mod-chip.com and wondered if I can play US backups with that also. Sorry so long but I am at a loss :o(

If you have an ORIGINAL Jap ps2 then the modchip you ordered may work.
If you do not then you have been had.

Yeah, I do have an ORIGINAL (hehe) Jap PS2 SCPH-10000 so I hope it does both US and JAP Backups....I just cant get the friggin swap trick to work with FARGO, it works fine on downloaded games with the 1.00 Utility Disc swap. WEIRD!!!!

i can play all my pal backups on my modded jap 150000 ps2 they work fine. i used fargo
