I Just got the pioneer DVD A03 drive, and i have i think a US (I git it here) PS2, model SCPH-30001.
Starting with just these 2 things, what else do i need and where can i get it to backup PS2 games and play them fairly easily. It seems from reading that OrigaChip is the way to go.
Please Help Me,
SlkyDaP1mp

So, either get the OrigaChip or wait for the Messiah. Is that ALL i need? Do i need software or any other hardware? And, lastly, where can i get an origa chip? I went to modchip.com, but couldn't find one called origachip
thanks,

You will need a GS2 if you are going to buy Origachip.

You can order your Origachip from

####://www.lik-sang.com

or

####://www.origachip.com

I suggest lik-sang because they are faster, cheaper and they do answer your email. Origachip.com is a bit more expensive.

Are you going to install the chip your self?

I have a thread on CDROM-Guide talking for self-installing Origachip:

What's the best modchip to get that you won't need GS2 for and directly boots and where can i get it?

Messiah NTSC-U/C is vapourware at the moment because of the SOny action. Undergoriund versions might appear.

OrigaChip is available.
