Protection fix???

Can anyone help me?? I have downloaded the protection patch for crash bash, this is my first attemp to do this, can you please tell me how I have to apply this patch. I have read the game onto my hard drive but without instructions am a little stuck, regards, Dave.

what you need is ppf-o-matic. thats what i used. i got it from http://www.hartly.btinternet.co.uk/newpage_1.htm its easy to do just follow instuctions which can be found on this page,hope this is of some help
