need help on coping PS2 games and patching them

how do you copy PS2 games?
Ive got a demo version of CDRwin and the problem is it can't read that I have a CDr drive some error saying that
"No CD-Rom recording device was found on the SCSI or IDE bus"
i've read all the procedures in applying the patch, but I still don't understand; Probably cuz I still can't use CDRwin cuz of the error please help me, cuz after i get the error fixed (some how) I would be eager to learn how to burn games

Hi, First, see if you can update your cd rom and cdrw drivers.
Disable auto insert notification in system settings. Or else the version you've got isn't compatable. Uninstal the one you've got. Go to www.goldenhawk.com and d/l another couple of versions. Leave them on you're desktop and 1 x 1 go through them, (uninstalling as you go) until you find a compatable version.
