Right, On Friday November 24th, I will become the proud owner of a brand-spanking new PS2!!
What I want to know is:
1) Can I play my PS1 backups on my new PS2?
2) Can I make PS2 backups, & play them?
3) Will I need to rip my PS2 apart & do the swap trick, or is there a mod chip or card available?
4) If I can make PS2 backups, will CDRWIN work, as for PS1 backups?
5) Can I play JAP/US games on my UK PS2, or backups of JAP/US games?

Thanks for any help,

From what I gather the only PS2 that is so 'user-friendly' is the JAP version of the machine!
It has multi region capability and a modchip/utility disk for using backed-up games (PS1+2)
I suppose it's a matter of time before these things become available for PAL, after all the machine has only just been released:)
