I can't find the post tjhat asked the question - but the situation was that someone wanted to burn a DVDRX-J backup for some theoretically sound purpose. They had no CD burner, only a Pioneer A03 which was not recognised by CDRWin. I offered to research the question.
I could not produce a workable CD that would boot behind a valid boot disk in this situation. I took my working DVDRX-J backup and made it into a BIN/CUE file combination exactly as I had downloaded it. I then used the BIN to ISO convertor to create an ISO file which was then given to PrimoDVD to burn bcak to CD-R.
All that went through error-free but the resulting disk was unreadable on the pC and unbootable (behhind a valid boot disk) on the PS2.
There must be a way but I haven't found it. Maybe CDRWin can one day see the Pioneer A03.
I tried.
