PS2 Neo 4 help!

Here's my situation. I had puchased a PS2 knowing i would chip it and bought the 15 dollar inshurance on it. Then i ordered the Neo 4. right before i got the Neo 4 my machine got screwed up or somin... so i just exchanged it. Got the Neo 4 and about to chip it when i see the serial says U5******. i searched a bit lookin for diagrams and found nothing but saying the SCPH-3001-R doenst support Neo 4. Now here is where my question is, mine says SCPH-3001 (no R) but has a U5***** serial #. Can i chip this and if so where can i get diagrams???

As long as it doesnt have a R behind the SCPH-30001 it has a v4 board in it. You got lucky, this is one of the last v4 boards made. I have been looking all over the east coast for one, so far all i can find is the 30001r.
