View Full Version : possible to play non-vga games one a vga monitor?
i was just wondering if there was a patch or bootdisk out there that would let me play my non-vga games on my pc monitor. I'm getting tired of switching the cables back and forth. thanks!

If it was non-VGA, it would be EGA/CGA/Monochrome. In other words under 256 colors. Now... I have yet to see a Dreamcast game with that ugly of graphics.

i'm talking about the vga box, the one that lets you play certain dc games at a higher resolution on a computer monitor. the games that are vga box compatible look great, the only problem is not all games are vga box compatible. anyone know of a bootdisk that will allow all games to play through a vga box(even if the resolution and graphics quality doesn't increase). if you try to play a non-vga box compatible game with a vga box, all you see is a screen saying that the game doesn't support the vga box. sorry about the confusion.
C'mon MoMo, even I knew what he was talking about - but I just didn't have an answer, so I didn't post... :)
