PLEASE HELP.I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A PAL PS2 AND WAS WONDERING IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO PLAY COPIED PS2 GAMES WITHOUT A MOD CHIP E.G. POSSIBLY USING THE BOOT DISC SCENARIO THEY HAD FOR THE DREAMCAST?
ALSO IF I USE CLONE CD WITH A HP CD BURNER WILL I BE ABLE TO COPY GAMES OK?

Do what we've all done and get a modchip. It doubles the capabilities of your PS2. If you are interested I can append my get you going guide or you can search my previous posts.

... or Memoery Manager plus.
You need something to boot up in a legal way that subsequently allows you to haul in a game behind it. AR2/GS2/DVDRX/MM+ do this and the modchip allows that hauled in game to be a backup.
