new ps2 m8 found v4 but dvd play with green screen

but if he plays a dvd movie on tv he gets green film
as if hes videod it

Isn't that a symptom of an NTSC DVD playing on a PAL PS2? I thought that one of the modchips defeats this (not sure which) and/or the BLAZE Scart lead also cured the problem. Maybe not. DAL might know.

Hi,

There is nothing wrong with his ps2.

You can fix this buy either having a NEO4 modchip, Region X or a blaze scart lead which has a DVD switch.

I bought a BLAZE Scart lead which sorted out the problem, the lead u get with your ps2 is shi*e and is NOT a true scart lead, should be left in the box with the DEMO disc.
